27° 56.9′ N · 111° 3.3′ W

The big full-service marina of the northern Gulf — 336 slips tucked behind the Tetakawi headland, the mainland hub where cruisers buy, sell, store and splash boats, six hours' drive from Arizona.

Practical

336 slips from 16 to 110 ft. VHF 16. Tel +52 622 226 1202 (marina), +52 622 226 1061 (Marina Seca), US +1 520 225 0478, WhatsApp +52 622 149 4664; info@marinasancarlos.com. Founded 1976. Coordinate from the marina's own directions link. Dinghy dock for boats anchored in the bay. Local clearance can be handled through the marinas (San Carlos itself is not a port of entry). Afternoon winds can make docking challenging. The marina runs its own fuel dock (diesel and gasoline, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm daily) — see 'Marina San Carlos Fuel Dock'. Travel-lift haul-out to 60 tons. Live tide data via a Hohonu sensor linked from the marina site. Small anchorage off the marina has good protection from seasonal wind and waves but is open to storm surge and swell.
