20° 45.0′ N · 105° 22.7′ W · approximate
The marina's boatyard, with one of the largest Travelifts on Mexico's west coast and a deep bench of independent contractors. Cruisers haul here for bottom jobs, seals and refits before the Puddle Jump or for summer storage.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate (within the marina complex). 150-ton Travelift with 32 ft beam capacity; dry storage for trailerable boats to 35 ft; launch ramp; 2-ton hoist for small race boats and engines; 24/7 security; air, water and power. A contractor directory covers bottom paint, painting, mechanics, fibreglass and rigging; there is a chandlery in the yard (Noonsite). Cruisers report being allowed to do their own work (SV Delos, 2010).
