Four days of seminars, games, live music, a dinghy poker run and the 'Rock to the Dock' sailboat race mark the end of the winter cruising season in La Paz - the successor to the old Sea of Cortez Race Week.

Coordinate is approximate: placed at Marina de La Paz, where the Club Cruceros clubhouse and Vista Room are; La Costa Restaurant is the other venue. Held early April: 2024 ran April 3-7 (returning after a four-year COVID hiatus); 2025 ran Thursday April 3 to Sunday April 6 with the Dinghy Poker Run Thursday 3:00 pm, the Rock to the Dock Sailboat Race Friday 1:00 pm, wine tasting Friday 5:00 pm, the Jamaica Me Happy dinner Saturday 5:30 pm and a chili cook-off Sunday 2:00 pm. Seminars cover the Baja Bash, hurricane prep, refrigeration, watermakers and more. Most seminars and games need advance sign-up at the clubhouse; dinner and event tickets are sold at the clubhouse during morning coffee (prices not published - verify locally). Club Cruceros Sea of Cortez Race Week, run at the islands off La Paz for many years, ended in 2002 and BayFest replaced it. Check the 8:00 am VHF 22A net for updates.
