The non-profit ecology centre at the end of Akumal Bay that runs sea-turtle conservation, nesting-beach patrols and reef monitoring.

Coordinate is approximate (Wikipedia Akumal reference point; the centre is at Carr. Puerto Juárez-Tulum km 104). Office Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm. Volunteer turtle camp and juvenile-turtle monitoring programmes; good place to learn the bay's rules before snorkelling. Contact via ceakumal.org.
