The 'Super Bowl of fishing': five days in October when the world's top marlin teams fish out of Cabo San Lucas for a purse that has topped US$11.5 million, with thousands of spectators lining the marina for the weigh-ins.

Pin is Puerto Paraíso mall (OpenStreetMap), beside the weigh station. 2026 schedule: registration and captains' meeting Tuesday October 20 at Puerto Paraíso; fishing Wednesday-Friday October 21-23 with a shotgun start (behind the line at 6:45 am) and lines out by 5 pm; boats inside the harbor entrance by 9 pm can weigh; awards Saturday October 24 at The Place at Cabo (in front of H, I and J docks). Bisbee's Los Cabos Offshore runs the week before (October 14-16, 2026). Expect the harbor, fuel dock and slips to be saturated - cruisers arriving in late October should plan to anchor or stay in San José.
