Archipiélago Espíritu Santo National Park Permit

24° 9.0′ N · 110° 18.5′ W · approximate

Everyone aboard a boat that anchors or lands at Espíritu Santo, Partida or Los Islotes needs a CONANP conservation bracelet (daily) or an annual Conservation Passport - rangers in pangas check boats.

Practical

Coordinate is approximate: the CONANP park office at Melchor Ocampo 1045, Centro, placed by street (open Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:00 pm; tel 612-122-7063). Fee on the official CONANP page: 225 MXN per person per day (a March 2025 press report gave 215 MXN, so it rises; verify locally). Free for over-60s, people with disabilities and children under 12; 50% off for Mexicans and foreign residents with proof. Daily bracelets can be bought online through CONANP, at the park, or reportedly at Baja Paperworks (Olachea at Cormoranes). The annual Conservation Passport costs 3,760 MXN (2026 marina-association guide) and also covers Balandra, Loreto, Cabo Pulmo and other parks. If a ranger finds you without one you can buy it on the spot. Park rules: no overnight anchoring at Los Islotes; all of Bahía San Gabriel is closed to anchoring; the reef area north of Bonanza is closed; no jet skis or water-skiing; do not feed sea lions; report violations to rangers on VHF 16.
