Saint-Louis Fuel & Water (Marie-Galante)

15° 57.1′ N · 61° 18.8′ W

There is no fuel dock or water tap for yachts at Saint-Louis: diesel and petrol come by jerry can from the Vito road station about 600 m inland from the pier, and water is best filled before you arrive.

Practical

Position is the Vito fuel station (OSM: diesel; Mon-Sat 8am-8pm, Sun 8am-1pm; also sells gas per the existing Saint-Louis provisioning entry). From the pier walk up the main street, about 10 minutes each way - take a cart or trolley for cans. Water: a 2019 Noonsite report says the anchorage water hose was removed ('No water any more in the anchorage'); no newer source shows a replacement. Nearest alongside water and fuel for yachts: Terre-de-Haut (water at the dinghy dock - see that entry) or Pointe-à-Pitre (Marina Bas-du-Fort). Grand-Bourg also has a Vito station (diesel, rue Beaurenon, OSM). Hours verify locally.
