Marina Port La Royale
18° 3.9′ N · 63° 5.2′ W
Marigot's town-centre marina, ringed by restaurants and boutiques, with charter companies along the quay and its own capitainerie.
Practical
Inside the Marigot lagoon basin (reached from the lagoon side, south of town). Capitainerie at 18.0645, -63.0882 (OpenStreetMap). Marina guests could clear at the Capitainerie (2016 reports of EUR 7-8 clearance - verify locally); one of the cruiser dinghy docks for Marigot. Berth specs and VHF not published in sources reviewed. After Hurricane Irma the Saint-Martin tourist office said the Port La Royale anchorage 'remains temporarily out of bounds' and directed boats to Marina Fort Louis, the Marigot Bay anchorage or Simpson Bay Lagoon. The quay has been repaired and its waterside restaurants open daily at lunchtime (see Le Tropicana and La Main a la Pate).
Best for
