The famous plane-spotting beach at the end of Princess Juliana Airport's runway, where jets on final pass less than 100 ft overhead.
Practical
Jet blast from departing aircraft can cause serious injury or death - a visitor holding the fence was killed in July 2017; stay off the fence and away from the runway-10 departure end, and secure belongings. Maho Market across the road for drinks and snacks. Visit by bus or taxi; there is no anchorage directly off the beach.
