The anchorage off South Frigate Bay beach, lined with the beach bars of 'The Strip', two dinghy docks and the closest grocery stores to the southern anchorages.
Practical
Good holding on sand with grass patches: in Jan 2025 a 40 ft catamaran held through 24-30 kn gusts funnelling between the hills (ActiveCaptain). noforeignland users rate it 3.5/5: rolly in strong winds and noisy from nightlife. Two dinghy docks in the small breakwater basin (Frigate Bay Marina) - the far one, in the right-hand corner, has rubbish disposal. Grocery stores within a mile's walk (Ram's Express, Island Market); taxis wait in the Frigate Bay car park; the Valu Mart IGA near the airport is about US$20 one way by taxi (2025).
