A palm-fringed golden-sand bay on the north-east (Calibishie) coast, reached down a rough track - one of the Pirates of the Caribbean filming beaches and a classic day-tour stop.

Position approximate - between OpenStreetMap's 'Batibou Bay' point and the mapped Batibou Beach ticket booth (a small private entry fee is charged at the gate; amount not verified). Reach by taxi/tour from Portsmouth (about 45 minutes drive to the NE coast per avirtualdominica). Atlantic coast: rip currents and undertow - swim only where locals advise. Not a yacht anchorage.
