A double opening in the East End reef with a small pocket inside, sheltering a few local boats.

Practical

Coast Pilot 10: the west opening is about 200 yards wide and usually marked by breakers on either side; within is a small pocket about 2 fathoms deep where a few local vessels find some shelter; the reef extends 0.6 mile offshore and the 10-fathom curve is 0.7 mile off. Local knowledge essential; a dinghy-scouting option only for visiting yachts.
