Honolulu Festival (March)

21° 17.4′ N · 157° 50.2′ W · approximate

A three-day Pacific Rim cultural festival in March with stage performances, a craft fair and sake and food fest at the Hawaii Convention Center, a grand parade down Kalakaua Avenue and the Nagaoka fireworks off Waikiki.

Practical

Approx position: Hawaii Convention Center, about half a mile from the Ala Wai harbor. The 30th festival ran March 13–15, 2026; severe weather cancelled the March 15 parade and the Nagaoka fireworks that year. The 31st is scheduled for March 5–7, 2027 (Honolulu Festival site). Exhibition Hall entry is ticketed; stages also at Ala Moana Center, International Market Place and Waikiki Beach Walk. The fireworks are set off off Waikiki Beach, so boats at the Ala Wai or anchored off Waikiki have a front-row view (2026 fireworks were scheduled for 8:30 pm, about 20 minutes).
