Spetses Dapia Harbour
37° 16.1′ N · 23° 9.4′ E · approximate
Spetses' 'new' harbour in the heart of town, below the grand Poseidonion Hotel — a ferry, hydrofoil and water-taxi port where superyachts line the Poseidonion pier.
Practical
Coordinate approx: placed in the Dapia basin off the ferry terminal mapped in OSM. Mainly for ferries and commercial boats: the west pier suits only small yachts or catamarans in calm weather, and in most cases port officials will turn you away. The Port Fund's 2025 zoning reserves the outer part of the Poseidonion pier for mega-yachts over 20 m (exceptions 8 pm–10 am only with Port Fund permission); its inner end is for small-boat embarking only; the inner west basin is for local boats under 10 m and embarking from small transiting boats; other sectors are for water taxis, excursion boats, ferries and hydrofoils, and several quays are no-mooring. Avoid Spetsai Reef between Dapia and the Old Harbour (visible as lighter water, sailingissues waypoint 37.26619 N 23.16194 E). Use the Old Harbour instead; Dapia is where you land by dinghy for shops, the bus and the horse carriages.
Best for
Dinghy landing for town; mega-yacht berths
