Pessada Harbour & Ferry Port

38° 6.4′ N · 20° 35.4′ E

A tiny harbour and ferry quay on Kefalonia's south coast — the summer car-ferry link to Agios Nikolaos on Zakynthos.

Practical

Coordinate is the OSM ferry-terminal node (Sea-Seek port position 38°06.48'N 20°35.40'E agrees). Ionion Pelagos runs Pessada–Agios Nikolaos in summer; the 2026 season has ended and service is expected to resume in May 2027. Small and busy with the ferry; Sea-Seek gives no berthing detail for yachts — keep clear of ferry movements. Crossing to Agios Nikolaos (Skinari) takes about 1 hour; zanteisland.com lists a June to mid-October timetable (Kefalonia to Zakynthos 7:30am and 6pm, Zakynthos to Kefalonia 9:45am and 7:45pm; €9 per passenger, €31 per car, no year given: verify locally). A slipway lies beside the ferry quay (OpenStreetMap). The Sunset Pessada bar overlooks the quay.
