Aponisos North Anchorages (Agistri)

37° 41.1′ N · 23° 19.4′ E

Several anchorages on the north side of Aponisos islet, joined to SW Agistri by a little bridge — pine trees to the waterline and cerulean water over pale sand.

Practical

Two more coves lie a little further NE. Together with the south anchorage (for northerlies) these give all-round shelter. The mini fishing harbour of Apolimani is too shallow for yachts. The Aponisos beach opposite is organised (sun-loungers) and busy in summer; Lekani salt lake, popular with walkers, lies just behind it.

Best for

One of the prettiest anchorages in the Saronic
