OpenStreetMap maps the beach as sand, and the Vasiliki bay (Όρμος Βασιλική) lies just east at 36.95364, 27.14278. No source describes an anchorage here: in settled weather and with the meltemi down, approach with care by chart and eye. It's exposed to the north. Coordinate from OpenStreetMap.
