Kambos Bay (Patmos)

37° 20.9′ N · 26° 34.0′ E

The busiest bay on the north coast, with a sandy, organised beach and the inland village of Kambos above.

Practical

Open E–SSE. Reasonable holding in sand in 5–10 m outside the swimming area (Sailing Issues); Grecosailor: excellent holding, avoid seagrass patches. Drawbacks: road noise and speedboats towing inflatables in summer. Buses run Skala–Kambos. Fish and vegetable vans visit Kambos square in the mornings (Wikivoyage).

Best for

Daytime swim stop with beach facilities
