Santa Maria Beach (Paros)

37° 7.9′ N · 25° 16.6′ E

A long, white-sand beach on the eastern arm of the Naoussa peninsula, about 2 km from Naoussa, busy with windsurf, kite and wakeboard schools and a dive centre.

Practical

Greeka: fully organised with sunbeds, a day-long beach bar (sometimes with DJs), a campsite, and windsurfing, kitesurfing and wakeboarding; X-ta-sea Divers is on the shore, and Greeka recommends snorkelling here for the seabed and marine life. Mikri Santa Maria is a quieter second beach about 1 km further on (see its own entry); the Santa Maria Beach Bar has its own entry. mySea marks an anchorage off the beach over sand and weed with good holding. It faces east, so it is a settled-weather or westerly stop. Position from the OpenStreetMap beach outline.
