Tinosecret lists Agios Ioannis Porto (Skylantari) and Agios Sostis among the frequent anchoring spots on the east side: sandy bottom and good depth, sheltered from the SW component. Sheltered from the meltemi by the island, but gusts come off the land. A small pier (Vatiras) is mapped in OpenStreetMap at the west end. Pin is approx: about 110 m off the Agios Ioannis Porto beach polygon by the OpenStreetMap coastline.
