naxos.gr: held on the penultimate Saturday before Easter at the Church of Panagia Akathi in Chora, with local delicacies and feasting late into the night. Other Schinoussa feasts (naxos.gr): 25 March at the Evangelistria church in Mesaria (food after the morning mass); 15 August, the Dormition, with food offered by the church; 6 December, Agios Nikolaos chapel at Faros, with fried cod and garlic sauce. Position is the OSM church polygon.
