Folegandros Kastro
36° 37.7′ N · 24° 55.2′ E
The medieval walled quarter of Chora, built to protect the islanders from pirates. Its continuous ring of houses forms the outer wall, and its north face drops straight down the cliff.
Practical
Position from folegandros.gr. Still inhabited and well kept; walk in through the gate from the squares. It is the island's signature view from the Panagia path.
