Chiou Street is Ermoupoli's food street. Greengrocers, fishmongers, butchers, bakeries, delis and loukoumi makers line it, with kafeneia cooking from the same stalls.

Pin is the 'I Omonoia' greengrocer (OSM). Within about 50 m on OSM: a fishmonger and butcher, Syros Fresh Bites (seafood), the frozen-food shop Katapsyktiki Syrou (+30 2281 083630), O Fournos tis Agoras bakery, and the Prekas and Korres delis. Sailboatliveaboard says fishmongers sell lavraki, tsipoura, barbouni, sardines, squid and octopus. National Geographic (Sept 2025) says Revans cooks a daily menu from the neighbouring stalls. Mornings are best; many small shops take a midday break and close on Sundays.
