The hillside village next to Apollonia, with 19th-century mansions, windmills and a quieter square. Wikivoyage finds it the more atmospheric of the two.
Practical
About a 20-minute steep walk from Apollonia. Wikivoyage recommends Liotrivi (open year-round, the island's biggest menu) and Margarita on the square. Trails 7 (to Agios Symeon) and 8 (to the Agios Sostis mines) start from the main square (Sifnos Trails). The church of Panagia Kochi holds an August 15 feast with music and dancing (municipality).
