A steep, cavity-riddled wall at Fitii, ideal for beginners because of the shallow start. Bring a torch for the colours and small creatures in the holes.

GPS from the Tahiti Tourisme listing (updated 2023). Booked through the island dive centres. The site is near the Fitii Yacht 4 and 5 circles, so watch for large-yacht traffic. Pacific Blue Adventure: the wall starts from a sand plateau inside the lagoon and drops to about 20 m; lagoon fish, crustaceans, nudibranchs, often rays and turtles; usually weak current, so it is done as a drift. Mahana Dive calls it ideal for beginners.
