A second, quieter reef-channel coral garden in the hoa of Motu Oromahana on Taha'a's northeast reef, close to the Tetimaru anchorage and the Vahine Island resort.

Position approximate: the OpenStreetMap node for Motu Oromahana; the hoa is beside the motu. Homai guides here (89 52 14 55). If you go on your own, take the dinghy to the edge of the reef, but leave someone in the tender to watch the swimmers because the current can be strong. No fins, no sunscreen. The motus are private: walk only the shoreline. Anchor in ZMR de Tetimaru (3 boats, 48 h).
