Marina Taina Chandleries (TYA & Nautic Systems)
17° 35.1′ S · 149° 37.0′ W · approximate
Two chandleries inside the Marina Taina compound, handy for rigging, line and bottom paint without a trip into Papeete.
Practical
Coordinates are the marina (shops are in the compound). Tahiti Yacht Accessoire (TYA) is strong on line, webbing, chain, rigging hardware and high-performance parts; it sells West System in bulk and has good electrical stock including Victron. The owner is very knowledgeable and speaks good English. It carries no polish, oil or paint. Nautic Systems (nautic.systems) has a large selection of bottom paint and marine hardware (Tahiti Cruisers Guide).
