Huahine Gendarmerie (port of entry, Fare)
16° 42.9′ S · 151° 2.0′ W
Fare is an official port of entry for French Polynesia, and the Gendarmerie Nationale here handles immigration and customs formalities for yachts.
Practical
Position from the OpenStreetMap Gendarmerie node. Noonsite (June 2024): on the main road, past the Super U, across the bridge, on the right. Yachts arriving from abroad first complete French Polynesia's single online declaration (see the area entry notes). The gendarmerie checks the reference and stamps passports. Also use it for clearing out. The medical centre is directly opposite.
Best for
Clearing in or out in the Leewards without going to Papeete
