Boulangerie André & shops (east coast, north of Avera)

16° 45.4′ S · 151° 25.7′ W

A small cluster of a village bakery (Boulangerie André) and two magasins (Irivai and Yee Foo) on the east-coast road about 2 km north of Vairahi Bay. It's a handy bread stop driving between Uturoa and Taputapuatea.

Practical

Positions are from OSM: Boulangerie André, with Magasin Irivai about 80 m north and Magasin Yee Foo about 250 m south (another unnamed bakery node sits near -16.7535, -151.4297). They're village shops, so expect bread, basics, drinks and cold beer, not full provisioning. Hours aren't published; Polynesian bakeries usually open very early, before 6am, and close by early afternoon (verify locally). Reached by road. From the Vairahi ZMR, Avera's own shops are closer.

Best for
