A tiny breakwater-protected harbour at Tuherahera with room for only a few boats, calm inside and perfect for landing the dinghy and loading groceries.
Practical
Coordinate is the harbour pier in OpenStreetMap. A sign (2018) set a fee of 300 XPF per metre per day to tie up at the marina dock (verify locally); no charge for dinghies. Sound the depth by dinghy before bringing a yacht in. In 2018 a French yacht lay comfortably on the inside (NW side) of the long jetty, protected NE through SW, except for wakes from the Pearl Beach Resort launch; the supply ship uses the T-head at the end of the wharf.
