Practical
Moana (2023) counted four well-stocked magasins in Moerai; baguettes are available in the morning. Sinn also rents cars (about 10,000 XPF/day, Pitufa 2018, verify locally). A daily fruit and vegetable market runs next to the harbour (see 'Moerai Municipal Market'). Avera and Hauti each have a small magasin. The supply ship comes every 2 weeks, so shelves are fullest just after it calls.
