Garden of Eden (Motu Ohina, Tikehau)
15° 0.5′ S · 148° 3.3′ W
A self-sufficient community farm on the Ile d'Eden at the abandoned pearl farm, selling vegetables picked while you wait, eggs and its own fleur de sel: a rare fresh-produce stop in the Tuamotus.
Practical
Coordinate and hours from OpenStreetMap: Monday-Friday 8am-11am and 2:30pm-4pm; closed weekends (2018 cruiser report gives 2pm-5pm; verify locally). Expect lettuce, herbs, pak choy, greens and seasonal papaya, tomato and beans, plus a gift shop. Land at their dinghy dock from the Garden of Eden anchorage; staff may direct you to the beach instead.
