The Shell service station on the main road east of Avatoru, the most reliable source of diesel and gasoline on Rangiroa, carried by jerry can.

Coordinate from OpenStreetMap (Station-service Shell). There is no fuel dock for yachts: jerry-jug from the Avatoru harbour or rent a car. The 2009 Yachtsmen's Guide says fuel is available in Avatoru in 100 L barrels or at the gas stations; in 2019 cruisers were told several Avatoru magasins sell diesel and gasoline but could not verify during the long lunch closure. Shops close roughly 12pm-2:30pm.
