Sveti Ilija Hike (Pelješac)
42° 59.7′ N · 17° 9.7′ E
Sveti Ilija, at nearly 1,000 m, is the highest peak on Pelješac and rises straight behind Orebić. The marked trail gives a huge view over Korčula, Mljet and Lastovo.
Practical
Coordinate is the summit viewpoint mapped in OSM. Marked trails start from villages above Orebić (signposts give about 2.5-3 hours up). There is a mountain hut on the way. Start at dawn in summer and carry plenty of water; there is no shade high up.
Best for
A big day hike for fit crews
Season
Spring and autumn; very hot Jul-Aug
