Broce
42° 49.3′ N · 17° 42.9′ E · approximate
A tiny fishing village on the south shore of the Stonski kanal, at the start of the narrow buoyed channel to Ston. Quiet, with a few boats and a church on the shore.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate, off the Broce piers (OSM). Keel yachts should only moor near the red light on the southern pier; a submerged obstruction lies about 70 m NNW of the end of the Broce pier. Depths shoal from 7 m to 4 m approaching the village. There is a small anchorage in mud under the NE shore about 0.6 nm ESE of Broce. Most crews go on to Ston or stop at Kobaš.
Best for
A quiet stop before the Ston channel
