ACI Marina Palmižana (Sveti Klement)

43° 9.8′ N · 16° 23.7′ E

A pine-wrapped seasonal marina in Palmižana Bay on the north-east side of Sveti Klement, 2.4 nm from Hvar Town. It is the most practical base for the Pakleni Islands and for nights out in Hvar by taxi boat.

Practical

Coordinate is the OSM marina (way 619850904). About 180 berths (reduced capacity during reconstruction, per ACI); daily berths up to 15 m, larger boats alongside the pier on request. Open April 1 to October 31. VHF 17; +385 98 398 853. Baba rock lies off the entrance, marked by a black-and-red beacon (Fl(2) W 10s, 43°10.1'N 16°23.8'E): give it a wide berth, especially on its north side. From Hvar steer for Baba but keep clear of Gojca islet. The southern approach between Borovac and Sv. Klement is under 5 m deep and unlit. Good shelter in most weather, but a strong bura makes it choppy and heavy W-SW winds can raise a surge. A charter guide puts a summer night at roughly €110-212 for 33-56 ft (June 2026). Grocery, ATM, restaurant, laundry and pump-out. Book online in July-August. Fuel 2.5 nm away at Križna luka.
