A remote mangrove lagoon on the west coast with a narrow entrance - an approved anchorage when you want solitude more than clear water.
Practical
Approved under the anchoring permit (Virgintino 2015). Narrow entrance with a resort on the south side; a strong current can run across the mouth and raise a chop; controlling depth 12-15 ft. Anchor just inside on the north side; further in, the water is murky and buggy from the mangroves. Coordinate approx: just inside the guide's entrance waypoint (12°15.99'N 69°07.83'W) on the north side.
