San Pedro Fuel & Butane (lagoon side)

17° 54.7′ N · 87° 58.3′ W

San Pedro's fuel stations sit on the lagoon (west) side of the island, away from the reef-side anchorage: Caribeña Fuels on Sea Grape Drive, Caribeña Enterprises in town, which is mapped as serving cars and boats, and Eco Fuels at the south end, which also sells butane.

Practical

Positions (OpenStreetMap): Caribeña Fuels, Sea Grape Drive, phone 226-4496 (this point); Caribeña Enterprises Fuel Station 'for cars and boats', Caribeña Street (17.92215, -87.96226); Eco Fuels Limited, Monday to Saturday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, phone +501 226-4427, butane available (17.90188, -87.99184); E&L Butane Gas, Caribeña Street, phone 226-3543. The lagoon is very shallow, so a yacht anchored off the reef side normally carries fuel by jerry can by golf cart or taxi; ask a station whether a skiff can come alongside. Check with the station that the diesel is clean, and filter it. No fuel-dock depths were found in any source. Separate entries now cover Caribeña Enterprises (marked for boats) and Eco Fuels (butane).
