A sheltered maze of coral heads in the lagoon about 1 km off Caye Caulker, one of the best snorkels around the island, with clear water and grunts, sergeant majors and parrotfish.
Practical
Position approximate: from the snorkeling-report page's nearby-accommodation link, not a surveyed spot. Depth fairly constant at 6-9 ft (2-3 m), maximum about 10 ft; sheltered from current and waves. Inside the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve: guided tours only, reserve fee about US$10 per person and tours about US$25 (snorkeling-report, updated 2022). No facilities.
