21° 29.7′ N · 71° 31.6′ W
A tidal underwater cave that once fed the vast South Caicos salt pans — named for the way it churns as the tide floods in — set among miles of abandoned salina walls where flamingos feed.
Practical
Free, always open, short walk from the Cockburn Harbour side. South Caicos was once the country's biggest salt producer (nearly a million bushels a year). A short walk from the anchorage dinghy landing.
