Permit· San Salvador· Bahamas — Eleuthera, Andros & the Out Islands
San Salvador Customs & Immigration
24° 4.0′ N · 74° 31.9′ W
The customs and immigration offices that make San Salvador the official Bahamas port of entry on the islands' eastern frontier.
Practical
Bahamas Customs lists San Salvador Airport, San Salvador Public Dock and Riding Rock Marina as customs ports. Noonsite (2013): both offices are in the airport terminal, about 2 miles north of Cockburn Town and a short walk from the marina. Apply and pay for the cruising permit in advance on Click2Clear, then have it stamped here (see the area file for current fees). noforeignland reviewers report efficient processing but mixed experiences with costs and the Click2Clear system, and recommend arranging clearance in advance; officers often meet flights, so call ahead. Position is the OSM-mapped airport terminal.
Best for
