Runaway Bay Anchorage (Island Farm)

A fair-weather anchorage off a beach south of Palmetto Point, used for the walk to Eleuthera Island Farm.
Practical
Position from the ActiveCaptain marker (listed there as 'Ten Bay', but a January 2026 note says the chart names it Runaway Bay). A 2023 boat had excellent holding in about 15 ft just past a defunct marina; a later boat could not set a Rocna on the thin sand over rock. Dinghy to the beach by the old marina, walk about 800 m up the dirt road to Queen's Highway, turn left and walk about 700 m to Island Farm. Fair weather only.
