6-9 ft; tide 2.5-3.5 ft; good holding in sand. Protection only from NW-NE; lively over 15 kn from other directions because of shallow water and long fetch. Solid public dock but under 3 ft alongside. Pre-arrange an airport taxi, or arrange one at Johnson's Grocery about 0.25 nm up the road toward the cell tower; stores in Lower Bogue under 0.5 mile.
