Graham's Harbour Anchorage
24° 7.7′ N · 74° 29.7′ W · approximate
A large, shallow, reef-enclosed lagoon on San Salvador's north coast, framed by Green Cay and the seabird cays - beautiful, but strictly a local-knowledge stop.
Practical
Wikipedia describes Graham's Harbour as a large, shallow lagoon surrounded by shallow barrier reefs; much of it is seagrass and patch reef inside Graham's Harbour Iguana and Seabird National Park. No published anchoring guidance, depths or entrance waypoint were found in the sources opened, so the point is only the middle of the lagoon (approx, from OSM). Enter only with local knowledge in excellent light and settled southerly-component weather; the reef line is fully exposed to north swell. Do not land on the protected iguana and seabird cays.
Best for
Settled-weather exploration with local knowledge
Season
