A quick in-and-out anchorage off the west end of Crab Cay, convenient for an early start west across the bank.
Practical
ActiveCaptain position. About 10-14 ft with good holding in sand; good for north-east and east winds, though NE waves can make it rolly; not scenic. Round the west end of Crab Cay and go straight to the spot. The inside (Crab Cay East) is better protected. A 48 ft motor yacht dragged 236 ft here in 35-40 mph winds (2016). Pre-Dorian reports (2013-2018).
