What is in season in the Exumas in MARCH
March is one of the strongest all-round fishing months: prime flats, the tail of the winter wahoo run, mahi building, and both Nassau grouper and crawfish legally open — crawfish for the last time until August.

NASSAU GROUPER reopens 1 March after the Dec-Feb closure; max 2/day. CRAWFISH open until 31 MARCH then closed 1 April — last chance; 10 per vessel. CONCH no closed season, 6 per vessel. BONEFISH at peak — March to May is prime; Exuma fish typically 3-5lb. WAHOO winter run tapering but still live along the Sound drop. MAHI building through March. BLACKFIN and YELLOWFIN TUNA on the drop-off. SNAPPER good, best April-May. STONE CRAB open.
