Bahamas Cruising Permit — 2026 fee schedule
Every foreign private pleasure vessel needs a cruising permit through Click2Clear. The fee structure was completely rewritten effective 1 April 2026 into 30-day, 6-month and 12-month tiers.

EFFECTIVE 1 APRIL 2026. 30 DAYS: under 30ft $150; 31-50ft $250; 51-100ft $350; over 100ft $600. 6 MONTHS: under 50ft $300; 51-100ft $750; over 100ft $2,000. 12 MONTHS: under 50ft $500; 51-100ft $1,000; over 100ft $3,000. TENDER over 25ft: extra $500. PASSENGER TAX: vessels carrying more than three people pay per additional non-resident aged 6+ — Customs says $20/person, trade press says $30. AIS: foreign vessels over 50ft must run AIS at all times in Bahamian waters, $1,000 fine. FIREARMS: max 3, 250 rounds each, declared and locked. The older schedule ($150 for 3 months under 34ft) is SUPERSEDED — do not use it.
