Tropical Hill Seamount

12° 26.4′ N · 61° 30.0′ W

A seamount off Carriacou's south-west corner rising from about 18 m to a few feet below the surface, teeming with morays, lobsters, flamingo tongues and hundreds of sergeant majors. The shop calls it one of its most spectacular sites.

Practical

Coordinate from Dive Carriacou's published dive-site map. Best early in the morning; the top is shallow enough for snorkellers in calm weather. Exposed to current near the south end of the island.

Best for

Spectacular pinnacle for divers and strong snorkellers
