Carénantilles Le Marin Boatyard (haul-out)

The Caribbean's big multi-trade refit yard, set in the mangrove-sheltered Cul-de-Sac du Marin beside the marina. It hauls everything from cruising cats to 50 m superyachts and gathers some 14 workshops in one fenced site.
Practical
Position is approximate, placed at the carénage area at the head of the bay near the supermarkets. Check the yard plan. A December 2025 Dockwalk article, sponsored by the yard, gives an 80-ton and a 440-ton travel lift, a 2.5-hectare site for more than 200 boats, about 1,000 boats a year, a 480 m deep-water work dock, 125 A power and 24/7 surveillance. Trades on site include welding, mechanics, glass-fibre, sandblasting, epoxy, air-con, electronics, paint, sails and a chandlery. Noonsite advises a marine surveyor ('expert maritime') before major work. Hurricane-season storage ashore is common, so book well before June. Check the yard's current insurance and cradle requirements.
