Nanaimo's waterfront has a large supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy and chandlery within an easy walk of the boat basin. It is the best place to restock in the northern Gulf Islands.

Coordinate is the OSM point for the Thrifty Foods store near the boat basin. Walk from the Port Authority docks or land a dinghy at the boat basin. A chandlery and public showers on the harbourfront walkway are close by. Taxis and buses run to larger shopping centres north of downtown.
